The character that you are playing and the side selected (Allianec or Horde) will determine how you level up in WoW. In this guide, I will give you tips on how to take your Human character from level 1 up to level 30 in the Alliance side. These tips may work for other races, but some quests will definitely require more information.
How to begin
You’re ready to start if you’ve already set up the game and you’re on level 1. You’ll find yourself first in Elwynn Forest which is in the North Shire Glade. Go and familiarize yourself with the area first before you proceed. You’re going to se some wolves running around. Slay the wolves and keep doing it until reaching level three.
That was surprisingly easy, right?
While at level 3, this is the perfect opportunity to equip some new armor for yourself and also to repair any damage. This will come to you easily much later. It’s time to start your first quest. But before that, you have to select the quest, choose A Threat Within, then the follow-up called Kobold Camp Cleanup. You will then embark on another two new quests, the Eagen Peltskinner and Wolves Across the Border.
Getting to level four and collecting 8 Though Wolf Meat items needs killing of more wolves. Grind the Kobold Workers in the area to quickly go to level 4. When you are there, you must accept each quests offered to you one by one. Grinding the Kobold Workers in the locale would help quickly level you up to five.
After completing the next seven consecutive quests, you would have gone far to level seven. These are easy quests so it should not take you more than a few hours to complete them. Make sure you grind whenever you can to help you advance even faster.
Jumping from level seven to level thirty is pretty easy. Simply complete all the quests being offered to you and report them in to receive the follow-ups. Tip: grind everytime you can, this will help you go to a higher level. On the other hand, you will need to have specific items to level up faster. Consider the following and read on.
Items You Absolutely Must Have
Level 6 – North Shire Valley
After killing the Defias Thug, collect the 12 red burlap bandanas.
Look for Gerrick Padfoot. Loot his head.
Level Seven – Goldshire
Get 4 pieces of meat by killing Stonetusk Boars.
Search for Goldtooth. You must kill him and then loot the item named Bernice’s necklace.
Level Eight – Goldshire

Find a special chest called Rumbleshot’s Ammo found in the Gnome’s workshop in the Operation Recombobulation Quest. Take this crate called “Rumbleshot’s Ammo”. Get the crate.
Level Nine – Yeti Cave
To gather at least eight Wendigo’s Manes, you must grind the Yetis.
Find the gnomes by proceeding outside. Go back outside and start grinding the gnomes until you have collected eight Restablization Cogs and Eight Gyromechanic Gears.
Level Ten
Look for Frosmane Hold and then after slaying everything in sight, look for the cave in the mountain above you. Go inside and take the basket of Shimmerweed. Go inside and take the basket.
These are the items you’re gonna need if you wanna level up a lot faster. Make sure you look for them in each level. Good Luck!
