A funny experience whilst shifting to Tacoma at The Blog Street Journal

It’s really been comical interacting with the electricians and plumbers here, an interaction that has been going beyond mere recognition and descriptions. Well, we have moved our dwelling to 7 American States and 12 cities. And for each relocation that we have been made to go for, we’ve, I mean my hubby, Greg and I, have had something amusing to chance upon in our numerous interactions with the Home improvement workers here- be it the technician on plumbing, electric works, gardening. Whatever you can think of, we’ve had one hell of a job getting them to do the job as per our exact choice on that. For some odd reason, whichever state and city we have shifted to, Greg and I have been extremely fussy about one issue- we want our house to be in fantastic condition. The feel and interiors has to mimick our lively and bright personality. Well, a kind amount of class showing up in our home accessories is also something that we surely wouldn’t mind at all. So to tell about one interesting encounter Greg had with this particular Tacoma Plumber who was kind of short of hearing. Just when he rang the doorbell, and I opened it- I said that I was so glad to see him as we were waiting since a long time to get our plumbing work in place. Just when I said that, he flipped and asked me puzzled- “Why would you be ‘sad’ to see me?” I was like- “Hey! Hold it. When did I say that I’m sad, I said glad.” After that Greg asked him to clean the pipes well. And he flipped and said-“Sorry Sir! I cannot clean the car window swipes. I am just a plumber, not a cleaner.” And Greg started to scratch his head in perplexity. Then I walked up to Greg and conveyed to him that the guy was not too great at hearing correctly. Ah! Tacoma Plumbing ! After he was gone, I heard my neighbor Ruth also grieving over some not up to the mark Plumbing experience in the town. Were all Tacoma Plumbers like that? - I pondered.
